Obituary

Dustin Scott Brown, 30, was born on June 23, 1988 in Dodge City, Kansas and passed away on December 4, 2018 in Houston, Texas.

Dustin is survived by his loving parents: Tim and Twila Brown; brothers: Derek Brown and Devin Brown; grandparents: Aubrey and Karen Price, Joyce Price; and his beloved dog: Dobby; as well as his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.

Dustin was fun to be around, easy to talk to, had a smile that could light up the room, and a hug for everyone he saw. He was always available to listen, and could make someone laugh or smile even during difficult times. He was incredibly funny, witty, and warm—qualities that made everyone around him instantly feel they were his friend, even if they had only just met. He was fiercely loyal to those that he cared for, and had a generous heart.

Dustin lived life at full tilt. There was little that he wasn't willing to try at least once—a characteristic that took him on many adventures, and the occasional misadventure—regardless, of which, he could make a riveting story out of it when later recounting it to friends and family. He was a superb and entertaining storyteller, who may or may not have been above "enhancing" a tale with his own embellishments, or making up a ghost story on the spot to scare his younger cousins.

From an early age he was fun-loving and irredeemably mischievous. Which was enjoyable so long as you were an accessory to his mischief, rather than the subject (and even the latter usually ended up having a good laugh). Every
encounter with Dustin felt like an adventure.

All of these things and more made up Dustin's big personality. And as a result, he leaves a great many friends and family behind who will miss him

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, with the funeral service at 2:00 pm in the Champion Forest Chapel at Klein Funeral Homes, 16131 Champion Forest Drive, Spring, Texas 77379.
