Douglas James Wilson left this earthly life on April 23, 2026 in Spring, Texas. He was born on November 29, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas to Woodrow Wilson and Helen Kupcho Wilson.

Douglas recently retired from United Airlines after 47 years of service.

Outside of working, you could find Douglas at any of his grandkids' extracurricular activities including cheer, dance, band, and of course at every baseball game, whether is was in town or out of state. He showed up and was present for everything. If he wasn't at one of the many activities, you could find him working on some kind of home improvement project.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents Helen and Woodrow Wilson; and his sister Susan Kay Wilson.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Sean) Millhouse, son, Kristopher (Rikki) Wilson; sister Judy (Dean) Bowen, brother David (Sandy) Wilson; grandchildren, Benjamin, Kadence, Jackson, Caroline, and Ryan.

SERVICES

Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. at his daughter's home in Spring, Texas.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78266.
