Douglas Bruce Thielen of Conroe Texas passed away on Saturday, July 30 ^th , 2022 in Houston Texas. He was born on July 26, 1953 in Houston to James Bruce and Johnie Mae Thielen. Douglas is survived by his wife Pamela Sue Thielen of Conroe Texas; Daughters Tonya Sabaj and husband Juan of The Woodlands, Tina Smith of Spring Texas; Grandsons Corbin and Evan Sabaj of The Woodlands Texas, Paul Smith of Spring Texas, and Granddaughter Shelby Sabaj of Houston Texas; Sister Diana Blissit and husband Mike, Niece Christina Capeheart; and his treasured dog, Lady.

Douglas worked at the Anheuser Busch brewery in Houston Texas for 31+ years as a stationary engineer. He liked science fiction movies, vintage video games, and building and restoring computers. He could fix anything electronic! He liked to cook, but more importantly, he loved cooking for his family. He had a big mouth and an even bigger heart. He took care of everything and everyone. He was always there when you needed him, no matter what. He loved his family deeply and will be truly missed.
