Douglas Terrell Pritzen, Jr. of Spring, Texas, was a caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He passed away peacefully to meet his Lord and Savior on January 15th, 2024 at the age of 83.
He was born in Dallas, Texas to Ruby and Douglas Pritzen on February 29, 1940. He was a proud graduate of Texas A&M University and later had a thriving career in the electrical engineering field. After jobs with Westinghouse and Industrial Electric Manufacturing, Douglas founded Lectrics, which he ran for over 35 years along with his wife.
Douglas is survived by his children, Mark Pritzen, Felicia Pritzen Melville, and Scott Pritzen. He is also survived by his wife of 40 years, Cheryl Pritzen, and their children; Labrie Pritzen Vice and Paula Pritzen Law. He was blessed to have many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Douglas. He enjoyed traveling and fishing, and he spent much of his free time working on classic cars. His cheerful attitude, bright smile, and contagious laughter will be missed by many.
