Dorothy Alonzo Wilson

Passed away peacefully Friday night after fighting Parkinson Disease for 5 1/2 years.

She was born in San Antonio Texas in 1948. "Dot" as she was known was blessed with a great smile that seemed to lighten up any room she entered.

She attended Harlandale High School in San Antonio where she graduated with Honors. She also attended Our Lady of the Lake University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Dot is survived by her husband Ron of 43 years, a loving step daughter, Wendy Wilson Lizarazo; grandson, Daniel Lizarazo; two sisters, Judy Charlton of Seguin TX and Bertha Balser of Edgewood, KY; two brothers, Manuel Alonzo of Cold Springs, TX and Johnny Alonzo of San Antonio, TX. Plus many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of Flowers, Please make a donation to HAPS: Houston Area Parkinson Society. They do wondrous work for individuals fighting this crippling disease.
