DOROTHY MAE BRADSHAW WHITE, 84 born August 1, 1934 in Rio Hondo, Texas died peacefully on the afternoon of September 19, 2018 in Clear Lake, Texas.

Dorothy attended Jefferson Davis High School and University of Houston.

Dorothy married Frank in Houston, Texas in 1955. Dorothy and Frank had 3 sons, Norman, and twins Darcy and David. Dorothy's main career was in raising their sons. However when the boys were well into school years, she returned to University of Houston and received her B.S., Ed. She taught school for 12 years and later earned a MA, Ed and post graduate work for certification in mid-management at Sam Houston State University. She then worked an additional 13 years as an assistant principal.

Dorothy retired from Aldine ISD in 1996. During her retirement she enjoyed traveling and especially enjoyed her trips to Paris, Cancun, and Italy.  She loved gardening, walking in the park, lunch and movies with her dearest friends, Nancy and Virginia along with other former colleagues too numerous to mention, shopping, yoga and Tai Chi at the YMCA, personal training with Tommie, reading, and her beloved shelties through the years; Chevis, Duffy and Max.

Dorothy is survived by son Norman and daughter-in-law Leeza, son David, and Daughter-in-law Karon (Darcy).

Dorothy is predeceased by her husband Frank, son Darcy, mother Gladys, father George, brothers George and Leon.

A graveside service will be held at Brookside Memorial Park on Wednesday October 3rd, 2018 at 11:00a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
