On July 11, 2021, Dorothy (Dotty) Jean Saxton, 80 passed away into God's graces at her family home in Houston, Texas. Dotty was born in Allegheny, Pittsburgh on October 26, 1940.  She was the youngest of 11 siblings.  She enjoyed spending time with her sisters and sports.

Dotty spent the last 49 years of her life in Houston, Texas, which she considered her home.  She was always an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Penguins and loved watching sporting events.  During her younger years, she was involved with her children's schools and volunteered at church.  After her husband retired, they had an opportunity to do extensive RV traveling around the United States.  She always said those were the best years of her life.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years George Saxton.   Her son, Bill Saxton and his wife Andrea, daughter Lori Ruysenaars and her husband Nick.  She has 4 wonderful grandchildren that she adored, Courtney Saxton Bontz, Dylan Saxton, Nickolas Ruysenaars, and Zackery Ruysenaars.  Dotty enjoyed spoiling the grandchildren with homemade treats and playing board games.  She also attended many of the grandchildrens sporting events, concerts, award ceremonies, graduations and a wedding.
