Dorothy Lee Beaty, 78, of Spicewood, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2026. Dorothy was born on February 7, 1948, in Houston, Texas, to Guy C. Parrett, Jr. and Betty Marie Oxford. She married Elbert “Wayne” Beaty, Jr. July 30, 1980.

Dorothy was a devoted wife and mother and lived a life deeply rooted in faith. Dorothy did not need to be the loudest person in the room to leave a lasting impression. Her life was found in quieter things—in caring for her animals, preparing a meal for the people she loved, spending time with those closest to her and building a life alongside Wayne for more than four decades.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Wayne; her daughter, Ashley Nichols and her husband, Cole; and her stepdaughters, Stephanie Fitzgerald and Connie Fowler and her husband, Tim.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by those who knew her best. A celebration of her life and homegoing service will be held on September 16 at 2:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association in Dorothy’s memory.
