Dorothy Suzanne (Lydon) Bricarell, 90, passed away July 10, 2016 in Spring, Texas. She was born March 10, 1926 in Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of John and Beatrice (McNally) Lydon.
Dorothy graduated from St. Hubert Catholic High School for Girls in 1944. She married Louis Bricarell on November 18, 1950 in Philadelphia, Pa. Her career included working in the courts of Philadelphia, Fine Arts Sterling & China, and Stress Engineering & Employment Recruitment.
Dotty's most favorite job was Domestic Project Manager – Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother.
This Philadelphia girl loved being in Texas, her favorite line was, "I was not born here but I got here as fast as I could." She also called Delaware, Utah & Mississippi home.
Dorothy is survived by her husband Louis of 65 years, her 8 children: Bruce (Laurie), Beth (Jerry) Eaton, Bonnie (Dick) Morris, Babette (Michael) Hopkins, Brian (Shari), Brenda (Howard) Gordon, Barry (Toni) and Brant (Tammie), 23 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Dorothy's survivors include her siblings, Beatrice Adshead, Ed (Maggie) Lydon, Mary Lou(Harry) Weckerly and Suzanne(Dennis) Olson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday July 15, 2016 at 1:30 PM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held on Thursday evening at Klein Funeral Home in Champions, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
Donations may be made to the American Heart Association in Dorothy's name.
