Dorothy Juanita Bogan is survived by her husband, Roy T. Bogan, and her son, Glenn Wayne Bogan, and daughter, Susan Renee Bogan. She has one grandchild, Aaron Thomas Borders, by her deceased daughter, Janis Lynn Borders.
Born in Clarita, Oklahoma in 1932, Juanita lived her young life on a farm in Wapanucka, Oklahoma. She maintained her love for animals and fresh produce all of her life. She enjoyed food, jewelry and a good book. Her recipe files are legendary.
After marrying at a young age, Juanita traveled throughout the U.S., living in Kansas, Texas, California, Michigan, Missouri and Wisconsin. She worked mostly at home, but had jobs with the telephone company, Palais Royal, and volunteered at elementary schools.
Later in life, Juanita contracted diabetes, Lupus, and suffered from kidney failure. Choosing to stop dialysis, we all wished her peace and comfort. We wish her more of the same in her final resting place.
