DORIS ANNE ROBERTS

Doris Anne (Reeves) Roberts passed peacefully at her home, surrounded by loved ones, on October 28, 2022.

Doris was born on September 21, 1935 near Belleville, IL. She truly personified the "greatest generation," embodying resilience, strength, character, and a quick wit. Above all, she was loving and kind.

Family was the center of her world. Her love, loyalty, humor, and care for others are traits that will remain in the hearts of all that knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her greatest love, husband Robert (Bob) Roberts; and by her parents, grandparents, brother, and granddaughter.

She leaves behind a legacy of five children, and numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren, all of whom are her pride and joy, as well as her cherished dogs, both being her loyal companions.

Her family will continue to honor her traditions, including her love for holidays; especially Christmas, which she always made magical.

The family would like to extend gratitude toward the caregivers, who lovingly cared for her in the months, days, and hours before her passing.
