Her name was spelt Joan but pronounced JoAnn. She was a loving and involved figure in her family and leaves behind four generations of family members. During her attendance at Kilgore College, she was a member of The Kilgore Rangerettes precision dance team, after all once a Rangerette is a '

. She and, her husband, Joe met in high school and built a family together while running successful dry cleaning businesses from the suburbs of Houston to Freeport, TX before retiring to Tomball. . As a family we all agree she was the very best cook and would be more than happy to share any meal on her table. She made a mean meatloaf, chicken and dumplings, and a good ol' pot of any kind of beans. She enjoyed the simple things in life; it was enough to live on her favorite meal of Pinto Beans and cornbread. Jam Cake and Pecan Pie was a staple in Christmas traditions. She was loved by many and will be missed by many family members, nieces, nephews, and friends.
