Dora Hernandez Villarreal, aged 83, of Houston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 15, 2025. Born on January 29, 1941, in Houston, she was the beloved daughter of the late Porfirio and Juana Hernandez.

Dora is survived by her loving daughters, Estella Villarreal and Marissa Capasso, along with Marissa's husband, William. She was a cherished grandmother to Mia Villarreal, Vivian Capasso, Cristian Capasso, and Cross Guien. Dora is also survived by her sister, Esther Ante.

Dora was a graduate of Reagan High School and worked at the Houston Police Department before getting married to her sweetheart, Cesar A. Villarreal, of McAllen, Texas. They were married for 51 blessed years before his passing in 2019. Dora loved to travel. Her favorite cities were Amsterdam, New York City, and Las Vegas. She was an amazing mother to Estella and Marissa, were their biggest fans, and showered them with a most incredible love. She was very sociable and never met a stranger. She made all feel welcome at her home.

She was a light in this world and was loved by many. We know she will brighten heaven with her beauty and loving spirit and continue to look after her children and grandchildren from above.
