Dora Frances Weaver Tipton, age 92, of Tomball, Texas went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 4, 2020. The heavens rejoiced, along with her late husband, Lee, for their wedding anniversary is August 5th….united again.
Dora was a long time resident of Tomball and graduated from Tomball High School in 1945. She was an 'oil patch kid', who lived in the 'poor boy' camp section of the Humble Oil Camp.

Dora was a gifted artist and taught for 40 years at Dora's Art Depot. She was a talented art teacher, but her greatest joy was teaching Bible Classes at Tomball's First Baptist Church, along with her Thursday Morning Bible Study group. Dora took great pride being a member of First Baptist Church in Tomball and was a devoted and dedicated member who loved her church family.

Dora is survived by her sons and their wives, Gary and Kate Tipton of Houston, Danny and Elaine Tipton of Tomball, Tim and Gail Tipton of Houston, and Mike and Mary Tipton of Pinehurst; grandchildren Tyler, Regan, Bailey, Matt, Kimberly, Kristen, Brandon, Brandy, Taylor, Troy, Trevor, and Travis; great-grandchildren Tabitha, Pierce, Hudson, Piper, Haley, Gianna, , Levi, Cassie, Caden, Kaylee, and many other relatives, friends and loved ones for whom she deeply cared.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 9:00am until 10:00am at Tomball's First Baptist Church with services being held at 10:00am. Entombment will be held at 1:00pm At Rosewood Memorial Park Mausoleum in Humble, Texas.
For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord, shall be saved.
