Donovan Antonio Graham made his grand entry into the world in a quiet little village called Epworth, nestled in St. Ann Jamaica W.I. on May 30, 1944 to the parents of the late Edgar & Cicily Graham.

He was the second of ten children of this union.  He grew up resembling his dad in many ways, looks , strength and charisma.

He was educated at Epworth all age school.  After graduation, he moved to Kingston in 1960 and worked for J. Ray & Nephew as a tourist guide.

In 1963 he migrated to  the United States where he resided in Brooklyn, NY.  This migration brought prosperity, objectivity, contentment, motivation and endless love.

His first objective was to enter Brooklyn Y.M.C.A technical school and there pursue a course in auto mechanic.  He graduated from this course with honors; but auto mechanic was just not his thing, so he pursued a course in machinist at the same school, and again graduated with honors and became a skillful master machinist until the day he retired.

On April 19, 1969 he married his sweet-heart, former Monica Elaine Campbell in Brooklyn.

While living there Donovan Antonio, Jr and Felicia Laverne was born.  In 1979, they relocated to Houston, TX due to his job.  The couple then went on to have two more children, Colleen DeAnn and Monique Elaine.

In his middle twenties, Donovan realized his life was meaningless without Christ so he began searching the scriptures for a meaningful life.  With the help of other ardent bible scholars, he was convinced and convicted that Saturday is the Sabbath.  He was baptized and became a member of the Bethel SDA Church in Brooklyn on March 30, 1974.   He served honorable as a member of the choir and kindergarten Sabbath School teacher before relocating to Houston.

Upon arriving in Houston, he served with dignity and distinction in various churches as Sabbath School teacher for Pastor's bible class, Personal Ministries Leader, Deacon and Elder.

The character of the life he lived might be summed up in these words:

He was God-fearing.  He was sincere  in everything he did.  He was industrious.  He was earnest.  He was unselfish.  He was generous , sympathetic and  would

always give unstintingly of himself in helping others.  He was hospitable and very time conscientious.  He was honorable, dependable and highly respected.  His life was the epitome of these characters which are worthy to emulate.

He was a skillful employee at Emerson Valve Automation for thirty three years until he retired on September 28, 2012, the same day his wife died.

He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and siblings:  Millicent Hall, Eleanor Ralph, Desmond G, Keith G, Charles G, Angela Morgan, David G, Nigel G, and  John G who preceded him in death in 2003.  Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

He fought a good fight.  His labor of love and sacrifice will be well remembered by the family.  Good night "Old Man", rest in peace until that great day when we shall meet again in glory land.
