Donnelle Parker Reed passed away at her home on February 4th 2019.She will be missed and remembered by many.  She was born November 3, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas  Shortly thereafter her family moved to Houston, Texas where she resided for the rest of her life. In 1964 she graduated from Milby High School and began her career as a hair stylist and a very good one.  Later she received her LVN certification for pursuing a nursing career mostly in pediatrics and really enjoyed the little children.

In her spare time she loved gardening and working with her flowers and other plants.  When it became too difficult to do this on her own she had a wonderful yard person to do it and she enjoyed admiring his creations.  She also got such pleasure from her two pugs,Rudy and Rosie.  Her home was adorned with pug memorabilia and loved collecting such items that reminded her of her puppies who were still residing with her when she passed.

She is survived by her son Marc Kelly Pike  and daughter-in-law Sheri Pike, grandson Garrett Pike,daughter Kathy Pike, sister Linda Kay Parker Johnson and brother-in law Burt Johnson , nephew Brett Johnson and wife Jill, niece Aimee Johnson Miller and husband Jeff.  Great nephews and nieces Parker Miller, Olivia Miller,Daniel Johnson, and Marie Johnson. She is also survived by sister Jan Parker Dinsmore and husband Joe,as well as sister Sharon Parker Burt and husband Steve .We will mourn her loss but will be grateful that she is at peace now.
