It is with heavy hearts, we announce that Donna Janet Payne, 70, of Klein, Texas, passed from this life on October 26, 2024. She was born on September 1, 1954, to Dorothy and Rudy Tyroch in Baytown, Texas.

Born and raised in Texas, she embodied the true spirit of Southern charm and hospitality, touching the lives of everyone she met. Her door was always open, and you wouldn't be able to leave her home without the offering of a meal.

She was the devoted mother of her two daughters, Allison and Laura, and her love and dedication to them shaped her entire life. She filled her days with laughter, sharing jokes that left her family smiling and lighting up the room with her unforgettable belly laugh. Her simple pleasures included decorating her home for every season, enjoying cozy evenings with Hallmark movies or classic westerns (especially John Wayne), and cheering on her favorite football teams. She never turned down a trip to Denny's for a comforting meal shared with loved ones, and her humor was as much a part of her as her warm, welcoming smile.

Her loyal companion, Dublin, was always by her side, bringing her joy and comfort. Family meant everything to her, from her dear sister, Rhonda, to her cherished grandchild, Makai. Her legacy lives on in the laughter she inspired, the meals she prepared, and the love she poured into her family and friends.

In remembering Donna, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with resilience, humor, and the simple joys that made her who she was. She will be dearly missed and forever loved.

A Celebration of Life for Donna will be held at Klein Funeral Home Champions on Saturday, November 2nd at 10AM followed by a reception at Spring Creek Oaks Clubhouse 1, 17111 Misty Creek, Spring, Texas 77379.

The family requests memorials and donations in honor of Donna to be made to Cypress Lucky Mutt Rescue.
