Donna Leigh Brown, Loving Mother and Wife Born November 25th, 1962 Passed Peacefully October 12th, 2016.
Donna Brown survived by her loving husband Howard and daughter Marlina. Preceded in death by daughter Jacquelyn, son Gareth, and mother Jacquelyn Langtry. Also survived by Edna Brown (mother in-law), Houston TX. Brothers Michael Schroeder of Howell, MI, and John L Husband of Bellville, TX. In addition she is survived by multiple brother and sister-in-laws, and nephews and nieces.  For over the past thirty years at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, Donna was involved in/or lead various youth group activities, Sunday school, and Vacation Bible School programs. She was also quick to volunteer at all school activities, including Stratford Playhouse Productions, both Brownies and Girl Scouts, and was a member of National Charity League and First Junior Women's Club. Her hobbies included picture and crossword puzzles, cooking and interior design. Over many years Donna provided special memories to many family and friends, by utilizing her God given talent of hospitality. She did this by opening her heart and her homes for all to enjoy each other's company and just good old fashion fun. Donna will also be remembered by many kids (and adults) as the mother with the best pantry and candy supply. She always provided a bag of goodies for the journey home.  In loving memory, gifts can be given to Christ Memorial Lutheran Church for the Playground Landscaping Memorial Fund.  Celebration of life services will take place at: Christ Memorial Lutheran Church 14200 Memorial Drive Houston, TX 77079  Visitation and viewing will take place on Saturday, October 15th in the church sanctuary from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
