Donald Ray Womack, 79, passed away August 23, 2021, after a battle with esophageal cancer.  A viewing will be held 5:00 – 8:00 pm, Monday, August 30, 2021 at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 Main St. Tomball, TX 77375.  Services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Salem Lutheran Church 22601 Lutheran Church Rd. Tomball, TX 77377.  Graveside services will be held at 32509 SH 249 Pinehurst TX 77362.

Don was born in Houston, TX on October 15, 1941.  He was the 2 ^nd of 6 boys born to Eula Mae and Huland Ellison Womack.  Upon graduating from Klein High School, he entered the US Army.  He was honorably discharged in 1964.  He enrolled in Sam Houston State University, where he earned a degree in Business Administration. He worked for several years as a salesman until he found his true calling with the Harris County Sheriff's Department.  He served as a Law Enforcement Officer for 32 years and retired with the rank of Sergeant in 2007.  He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Huland Eugene, Jim Lynn, and Thomas Fred, and one daughter, Dawna Rhea.

He is survived by his daughter, Kay Womack Vavrina (James) of San Antonio, his son, Darren Keith Womack of Cypress, two grandchildren, Alexandria Gutierrez and Landon Albertini, two brothers, Richard Womack and Charles Womack.
