On December 13, 2020 Donald Ervin Ketelsen (age 83, Houston, Texas) passed away.

Donald is survived by his wife, Sandra Ketelsen; brother Dennis Ketelsen and sister-in-law Linda Ketelsen; daughter Kim Arnold and husband William Arnold; daughter Maria McGilvray and husband Gary McGilvray; son Robert Wiesner and wife Susan Wiesner; daughter Deborah Reed and husband Ken Reed; daughter Heather Chappell and husband Doug Chappell; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one nephew and three nieces. He had a foreign exchange student, Stephen Rick, who quickly became the son he never had.

Donald is fiercely loved by many. He is remembered for being an amazing husband, Opa, father, stepfather, brother, and friend. He had a special love for others, and he never met a stranger. Donald was a very talented craftsman; he could build just about anything! He is especially known for telling stories, as it was one of his favorite things to do. He touched the lives of many with his humor and quick wit. Donald will be dearly missed by his loved ones. "Opa" will forever remain as a role model to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Donald was a remarkable man, who will be kept close in our hearts eternally.
