Obituary

Don Harris passed away peacefully at his home early Tuesday morning, April 26, 2022. He was born November 12, 1941, in Ramona, Oklahoma to Frank and Maude Harris and was the third of 4 brothers including Mac, Charles, and Darry. Don joined the United States Marine Corps and served our country patriotically before graduating from Oklahoma University with a degree in Petroleum Land Management. He started his career in Corpus Christi, Texas where he met and married the love of his life, Marsha. Over the next few years, Don and Marsha started their family with son Don and daughter Kim. Don was a great husband and father coaching his kids in several sports activities. Most importantly, Don shared his love for God by teaching Sunday school classes and counseling using God's word. He never met a stranger and always made sure everyone knew they were important and loved.  Don and a friend envisioned and founded Willow Creek Golf Club where he enjoyed honing his golf skills.

Don was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers. He is survived by his loving wife, Marsha, his son Don and his wife Tammy, his granddaughters Alex and Rachel; his daughter Kim and her husband Rich, and his grandsons Drew and Reed. Don will be greatly missed.

Interment will be private, and a reception will be held at Willow Creek Golf Club, 24525 Northcrest Drive, Spring, TX 77389 at 2:30 PM.
