Donald Wayne Garrett, 89, of Tomball,  Tx passed  away December 21, 2023. He was born May 5, 1934, in Burlington, KS to the late John Stanton and Maxine Davis Garrett.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years Donna Wilson Garrett and his five children, son Ken Garrett and wife Susan, Daughters Richele Garrett Kinsey and husband Richard,  Andrea Garrett Garrison and husband Ron,  Pat Garrett Pavlock and husband Billy and Tonya Garrett Hastings.  Grandchildren:  Daniel Garrett, Travis Garrett and wife Abbie, Aimee Garrett, Lance Kinsey and wife Sarah, Lindsey Garrison and fiancé Clayton Farrar,  Kevin Garrett and wife Tabitha and Shelby Hastings Strickland and husband Trey and 9 Great Grandchildren.   He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Don graduated from Madison High School and went on to attend Rolla School of Mines in Missouri where he received a Bachelor in Petroleum Engineering and made his career working for Texaco, Chevron, and a few Independent Oil Companies.

He had a tremendous love for Hunting and Fishing with his son in laws and close friends.  But his greatest joy was his loving wife and family especially those grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Champions, and was a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ and never missed a day of reading his bible and praying.

Our sorrow can be overcome with the joy of knowing that Don now begins his eternal life with his Lord walking on the streets of gold.  He will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers memorial's can be made to the Church of Christ in Champions

The family will receive visitors Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Church of Christ in Champions, 13902 Cutten Rd, Houston, TX 77069.  Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 11:00AM at Church of Christ in Champions, 13902 Cutten Rd, Houston, TX 77069, with Dr. Bryan McCalister officiating.  Interment to follow inKlein Memorial Park in Pinehurst, TX.
