Donald "Don" Ray Sanders, affectionately known as Don, lived a life defined not by the titles he held or the success he achieved, but by the countless lives he touched along the way.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He was a kind and generous man who left every person he encountered a little better than he found them. He loved his family more than anything in this world, and that love was evident in the way he lived, the way he treated others, and the example he set throughout his life.

Don's life was a testament to hard work, determination, and the willingness to embrace every opportunity. His professional journey took him through a remarkable variety of roles, beginning with humble positions as a broom handle stacker and dock worker, culminating as a successful entrepreneur through his co-founding of Turn Tech, Inc.

From beginnings in Urania Louisiana to hitchhiking to Houston, with nothing more than the change in his pocket, to building a thriving business, Don's journey reflected his work ethic, ambition, and ability to turn opportunity into accomplishment.

Beyond his professional life, Don was a dedicated member of the Masonic fraternity for more than 50 years. A proud Ancient Free and Accepted Mason (A.F. & A.M.), he attained the distinguished honor of 33rd Degree Mason and proudly served as a Past Master. His decades of dedication to Freemasonry reflected his commitment to brotherhood, service, integrity, and the principles by which he lived his life. His Masonic journey was an important part of his legacy and a testament to the values he carried throughout his life.

An avid hunter and fisherman, Don found great enjoyment in the outdoors and the traditions that came with it. Yet, as much as he loved hunting, fishing, and the many pursuits that filled his life, nothing compared to the love he had for his family. They were his greatest source of pride and the most important part of his world.

Those who knew him will undoubtedly have their own stories of his kindness, generosity, humor, and the positive influence he had on their lives.

Don is survived by his beloved wife, Wendy Sanders; his children Donald Sanders Jr., Richard Sanders (Susan), Darchell Chesser (Steve) Jacob Grunwald (Hans), and Adam Grunwald (Cathy); his grandchildren, Ashley Rizza (Grant), Quinn Chesser, Ty Chesser, and Lacey Grunwald; his great-grandchildren, Parker Thomas, Payton Rizza, and Colt Rizza; along with his beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lorena Sanders, and his brothers, Robert and Glenn Sanders.

Don leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, generosity, and unwavering positivity. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

A life well lived. A legacy well earned. A man who will never be replaced.
