Donald Collora was born on February 6, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York.
It is well known to Don's family that he was always happiest when surrounded by his family. He will also be affectionately remembered for his incredible sense of humor, as he often kept everyone around him laughing.
Don is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Arlene Collora, and daughter, Tina Collora. Arlene and Don had five children, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Don is survived by his children Donna Collora, Anthony (Bud) Collora and wife, Kimberly Collora, Patricia Irwin and husband, Jay Irwin, and Thomas (Scott) Collora and wife, Deniese Collora. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jennifer Crandell, Donald Jason (D.J.) Collora, Chrystie Collora, Trina Romero, Thomas Collora, Matthew Irwin, Timothy Collora, and Kelly Irwin, and great-grandchildren Christopher Woznick, Tyler Collora, Jenson Crandell, Judson Crandell, and Anthony Collora.
Don became a local business owner in Magnolia, Texas after retiring from the Texaco Corporation after 33 years. In retirement, he spent as much time as he could surrounded by family. His generosity toward his family is immeasurable.
