Donald Clayton, 82, of Montgomery, Texas, passed away October 31, 2018.  He was born July 10, 1936, in Bakersfield, CA to the late Lester Dewey Clayton and LaVora Miller Clayton.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Ann Pichon Clayton; children, Gethyn Clayton Smith and husband Mitchell Robin Smith, John Clayton and wife Jenifer Clayton; Ann Clayton Nolen and husband Michael Windsor Nolen; grandchildren, Courtney Ann Breitenbach and husband Cameron Pierce Breitenbach, Lauren Ann Clayton, Steven William Clayton, Megan Nicole Clayton, Kaleb Ezekiel Clayton, Hannah Lauren Clayton, Clayton Windsor Nolen, Carson Michael Nolen, and Colton Donald Nolen; granddaughter-in-law, Ashley Diane Smith; great grandsons, Turner Ryan Smith, Pierce Ryan Breitenbach, and Beckham William Breitenbach; and brothers, David Charles Clayton and wife Linda Janies, and Marshall Gaylord Clayton and wife Carita Jo.

Including his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson, Ryan William Smith.

Family Services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, LA  70469.  Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell, LA.
