Obituary

Donald Cecil Alexander, age 84, graduated this life to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 surrounded by his family.  He leaves behind his loving wife of 65 years, Barbara Sue (Dudney) Alexander, five daughters and one son:  Donna Sue Nivens and her husband James Nivens, Nancy Charlene Runnels, Deborah Louise Edwards and her husband Bill Edwards, Daniel Cecil Alexander and his wife Carol, Dannette Yvonne Dietz, Patricia Arlene Hunt and her husband Mark Hunt, along with 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Donald was born in Houston, Texas August 1, 1934 to Oregon Cecil "O.C." Alexander and Rose Lynch Alexander who have preceded him in death, also preceding him in death was his sister Juanda Rose Alexander Bryan.
Donald served in the Air Force as a Military Training Instructor from July 1954 to July 1962 when he received an Honorable Discharge.  He retired from Wyman Gordon (formerly known as Cameron Iron Works), as an Inspector.  Donald and Barbara have been residents of Stagecoach, Tx for 51 years.
Funeral service will be held at the Houston National Cemetery on Monday March 11, 2019 at 1:15pm as a graveside service.  The Air Force will be present.
The family wishes to meet family and friends on Sunday March 10, 2019 at Klein Funeral Home 5pm to 8pm at 1400 W. Main St, Tomball, Texas.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the family and "In remembrance of Don".
The family wishes to thank the Tomball Medical Center staff of the E.R. and ICU for their diligence in Don's care.
