Don Wesley Frazier, 87, of Magnolia, Texas, went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2024, after a short illness. Don was born on October 23, 1936, in Baird, Texas, to George Asa Frazier and Louetta Weldon Frazier. He spent most of his early years split between Baird, White Settlement, and Bishop, Texas. While in high school, he loved playing his cornet and working at the drugstore.

After high school, Don earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Arlington State College in 1961. He then started a Master's program at Texas Christian University before moving to Corpus Christi to take a job with Humble Oil and Refining Company. While in Corpus, he met Barbara Dugger, who would soon become his wife of 50 years.

Together, Don and Barbara lived in Corpus Christi, Houston, New Orleans, Spring, and Magnolia over the course of their marriage and had two children, Donna and Derek. Don completed his Master's degree at the University of Houston in 1965 and continued to work in the Oil and Gas industry with companies such as Signal Oil, Cockrell Corporation, and C & K Petroleum before starting his own geophysical consulting company, Don W. Frazier, Inc. His services were highly sought after by oil and gas drilling companies.

Don loved animals and was devoted to his dogs and cats. He enjoyed listening to Big Band music and keeping up with the latest technology. He was a generous man, and his generosity was blessed by the Lord.

Don was a member of Champion Forest Baptist Church, where he regularly attended until he moved to the Magnolia area. He loved the Lord and recognized all the ways God blessed him and took care of him in his life.

Don was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, his parents, and his four siblings: Evelyn Frazier Pritchard, George Everett Frazier, James Ray Frazier, and John Howard Frazier. He is survived by his daughter Donna Frazier, son Derek Frazier and wife Kathy, granddaughters Kyrie and Kaylie Frazier, nieces Diane Pritchard, Brenda De Alba, and Coye Hoth, and numerous extended family members and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Devotion Hospice nurses Aniyah, Gail, and Deidre and to Seasons Assisted Living and Memory Care for the few short days he was in their care.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's name to the Montgomery County Animal Shelter in Conroe, Texas.

A celebration of Don's life will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, June 19, at Klein Funeral Home Chapel–Magnolia, with Pastor Gary Ladd, officiating. Visitation is 1-2 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home and interment will be in the Klein Memorial Park FM 1488.
