Dolores Ruth Shaw

Born September 21, 1933 passed away Saturday afternoon July 1, 2017 at the age of 83. Dolores was born in Rutherford, TN and later moved to Memphis were she would meet her husband Sammie Shaw. Dolores was the anchor of the family as her and Sam moved for college in Austin TX and then to South LA where they would begin a family and continue to move to Trinidad & Tobago and back to New Iberia, LA. Dolores and Sam moved to Tomball TX in 1981. Dolores was a devout Christian and very involved in her church, First Baptist Church of Tomball, where she taught Sunday school for several years and volunteered with many different groups. She was an avid bridge player and loved to watch movies and have dinner with her many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Sam and survived by sons Carl and Michael and granddaughters, Katelyn, Emily and Ciera and grandson Ty, all whom loved her dearly. Visitation will be held Wednesday July 5th from 1:00 to 2:00 PM followed by the funeral services. Both will be held at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main Tomball, TX 77375.
