Dianna Lynn Maria Parish, age 64, died September 5, 2020, at home in Spring (TX) of cancer.

Born: October 18, 1955, in Washington DC, to Aldo Miguel Sanciprian and Patricia Ann Smart. Adopted by Harold H. Becko. She is the oldest of three (3) sisters and one (1) brother.

Attended Monte Casino Parochial School K-12, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and attended Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma, as a Music major.

As a child she studied piano and ballet; and loved summer camp sessions at Camp Waldemar for swimming, archery, and track events.

She spent many years as a wife and mother to three (3) children, whom she showed immeasurable love and dedication.

After her children were older, she worked for many years in retail sales, with a particular interest in antiques and home furnishings.

She resided in Tulsa, Katy (TX), Arlington (TX), and most recently 22 years in Spring (TX).

Marriage: To Donald Christie Parish, at Christ the King Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma, December 16, 1978.

Hobbies and interests: Sophisticated and broad. An example are her Pinterest boards which serve as a reflection of her taste and interests. She studied ballet through childhood to early adulthood lastly taking classes at the Houston Ballet. Was a talented conversationalist and was inclusive and welcoming to all people. She was loving, pleasant, funny, and a good storyteller routinely reading to her children, and then grandchildren. With a clear moral compass, she was passionate about her family being kind and never speaking ill of each other. Interest included French and British culture, interior decorating, gardening, music (both listening and performing), dance, spirituality, politics, athletics, and many others. Travel highlights were England, France (Paris) and Switzerland.

The greatest tragedy of her life was the loss of her daughter Allison Grace Parish, age 9, on May 2, 1999.

She loved to laugh with friends and family, and especially enjoyed any humor with her grandchildren. The true joy of her life is her children and grandchildren.

Charity: Consistent donor to Dell Children's Hospital, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, NF Foundation.

Survived by Donald Christie Parish (spouse), Donald Alexander Parish (son), James Scott Parish (son) and Carly (daughter-in-law) Parish, Hayden and Hunter Parish (grandsons).
