?passed away December 7, 2016, at the age of 73, after a year long battle with cancer. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and raised in Heavener, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Heavener High School. She attended several colleges in Oklahoma and received both teaching and accounting degrees. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and a grandson, Jake Tatum.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Ken Eshelman; sons, Mark Tatum and wife Angie of Scottsdale, AZ, Robby Tatum and wife Cappi of Kingwood, TX, and Jeff Eshelman and wife Trish of Tulsa, OK; a daughter, Amy Tracy of Wichita, KS; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Dianna had a distinguished career at Conoco, retiring in 1998 as Director of Human Resources for Gas Operations. She was an accomplished golfer with two hole-in-ones and a four-time Ladies Golf Club Champion at Raveneaux before joining Champions. She enjoyed being with her girl friends whether playing golf, bridge, or mahjong. Ken and Dianna loved to travel: golf trips, visits to Europe, and cruises.
She will be missed by all who knew her and will remain in our hearts forever.
Friends are invited to visit with Dianna's family from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, December 11, at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Drive, Spring, TX 77379. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 12, at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 5830 Bermuda Dunes Drive, Houston, TX 77069. A graveside committal service will take place at 3:30 p.m. following a brief reception at the church.
If desired, donations may be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston.
