Diane Janice Weidenheft, 87, of Houston, passed away June 7th. She was born August 2nd,1937, in Hammond Wisconsin to the late Harlan McConnell and Loraine McConnell.

She is survived by her sons, Steve Weidenheft and Mike Weidenheft; granddaughter,
Jennifer Weidenheft; grandson, Cade Weidenheft; granddaughters, Alex and Kelly;
grandsons, Matthew and Stephen; granddaughter, Amanda Emory; and
great-granddaughter, Blake.

Including her parents she was preceded in death by her sons David Patric (Pat) and Jim
Weidenheft.

Diane was very much a social butterfly, with her Bridge, puzzle groups, Her great group
of friends called the "Dizzy Dames. Diane played competitive tennis until she was in her
mid 70' She loved working in her yard pulling weeds by hand and trimming the porch
edges with scissors. Diane was an airline flight attendant, and her career was shortened by
her pregnancy with Steve. Diane was always busy with 4 boys within 5 years, The family
moved about every 3 years as Ron was promoted. Diane took care of the doctors, the
schools and the extracurricular activities for the boys and packing 4 lunches every day for
school. Mom was a friend to many and deeply loved by her friends and family.
