Diane Shannon, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, at her home in Tomball, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Alice Seeber; her brother, Neill Seeber and son-in-law Bob Leone.

She is survived by her children, Kelly Leone and Scott Shannon (Judy); her grandchildren, John Maniscalco (Marisa), Shannon Oliver (Jeremy), Keira Shannon, and Riley Shannon; her step-grandchildren, Natalie Frost (Brandon) and Veronica Leone; and her great-grandchildren, Grace Maniscalco, Wills Maniscalco and Tessa Oliver. Her family was her greatest joy and pride.

Diane was born on February 1, 1938, in Des Moines, Iowa, where she lived until her marriage. She later settled in Rockford, Illinois, where she spent the majority of her life. After a brief time in Searcy, Arkansas, she moved to Tomball, Texas, in 2010 to be closer to her daughter.

Professionally, Diane dedicated much of her working life to bookkeeping, a role well suited to her diligence and attention to detail. In her later years, she devoted her time and heart to her beloved church, Zion Lutheran, where she formed many meaningful friendships and found great fulfillment in service.

Diane will be remembered for her unfailing kindness, gentle spirit, and willingness to help others. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 907 Hicks Street, Tomball, Texas.

Family and friends are invited to join for refreshments and fellowship immediately following the service in the Parish Hall.
