Diane "DeDe" Mary LaRochelle, of Houston, Texas, was born on June 17, 1956 and passed away on June 14, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her son, Richard Horehled, and her parents, Arthur and Marion LaRochelle.

Diane is survived by her son, Matthew Horehled; her siblings, Sandra Ward and husband Don, David LaRochelle and wife Debbie, and Pam LaRochelle; niece, Kendall Zuniga; and nephews, AJ LaRochelle, Shawn Ward, and Shane Ward.

Dede cherished family above all else, finding her greatest joy surrounded by her loved ones – her sons, parents, and siblings. Her warmth and humor, every gathering, special occasion, and her love for both people and animals knew no bounds. Many will remember her as someone who opened her heart and home to every stray brought to her.

Even in life trials, DeDe's strength was evident, particularly when she embraced LifeGifts Organ Donor Program after the loss of her oldest son, Richie. Her dedication to helping others, even in her grief, speaks to her remarkable character.

Her legacy of love and kindness is woven through the life she touched. Dede's Laughter and uplifting spirit were a bright light, leaving us with cherished memories. As we navigate the days ahead, we will deeply miss her presence, but our love and generosity remain in our hearts.

Dede had many accomplishments in life, for many years she worked alongside her brother at David Cycled. She then transitioned to Bechtel engineering and then finished out her career at Lonestar Bank until her retirement in February 2026.

In our sorrow, let us remember DeDe's Impact and be inspired by her example of care, courage, and compassion. Though she is no longer with us physically, her spirit endures in the love she shared so freely. May she rest in peace, enveloped in our everlasting love.

Visitation will be held at 9am with a funeral for Diane to begin at 10am on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Spring, TX 77379.  She will be laid to rest in Klein memorial Park in Pinehurst, TX immediately following the funeral.
