Derek Dean Parker, 40 of Spring passed away on November 29, 2023. On August 3rd, 1983 Derek Dean was born to Timmy and Michele. Derek was raised in the Katy, Texas area. He was quite athletic being on the swim team, and playing baseball and football. He graduated high school in 2002 from Cy Creek High School. After graduating he worked for Peterson Beckner Industries and numerous other companies as an Ironworker, Connector, and Welder in and around Houston. In June of 2006, he welcomed his son Hayden Dean. Derek loved his family. Derek had a great personality. He was quick-witted and always had a great comeback. He loved a good movie and hanging out with his friends and family. Although he lived to be only 40 years young, he lived those years as he chose and followed only his own rules. Derek left this world on November 29, 2023 at the age of 40. We are all comforted knowing he and his twin brother, Jake are together again. We know Jake was standing at the gates of Heaven welcoming him with open arms.
In 1993, Derek accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized. He reaffirmed his commitment to Christ in 2018.
