Obituary

Dennis Murray, 59, of Magnolia, Texas passed away July 30, 2024. He was born November 17, 1964, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late John Murray and Mary Murray Hartigan.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Stephanie, along with their sons Blake and Brent. He is also survived by his Sisters Deborah Taylor, Joyce Erck, Lisa Stewart, Kristi Rogers and his step-father George Hartigan; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews

Dennis joined the Navy in 1988 and served five years as an Air Traffic Controller including time served during Desert Storm. Receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1993, Dennis got out of the Navy and immediately began working at Keystone Concrete Placement, serving a 30-year tenure. He loved his job.  He and Stephanie had their first child, Blake in 1998 and their second child Brent in 2001.  He always dreamed of owning land.  He and Stephanie had bought five acres of land in which they built their dream home in 2002. He spent his time hunting, fishing, loving every day and taught himself how to weld.  He was very good at it. He also loved spending time with his best friend Joe, at his farm.  He loved the outdoors, He was the kind of person to always ensure those whom he cared about were treated with love and respect. Enjoying life to the fullest, until the bittersweet time that God called him home.

The family will receive visitors Monday, August 5, 2024, from 5-8 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home - Champions, 16131 Champion Forest Dr, Spring, TX 77379.  Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 19222 TX-249, Houston, TX 77070, with Father David Ramirez officiating.

Serving as pallbearers are Jay Taylor, Jason Taylor, Jared Taylor, Sam Erck, John Erck, Kyle Stewart, Kohl Stewart, and Kade Stewart;

Memorial contributions can be made to The Joshua Chamberlain Society – Houston Chapter or The American Cancer Society
