Delia Garcia Piña was born in Refugio, Texas on September 21, 1932, and passed away in Houston, Texas on January 6, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Chencho and Guadalupe Garcia; her son, Alfonso Pina, Jr. and her husband, Alfonso E. Piña, Sr.

Delia is survived by her children, Robert L. Piña, Clara P. Garcia, Maria E. Bautista, Gregory Piña, Margo Bannenberg and Juliana Piña and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is also survived by sisters, Lori Maciel and Margaret Vidaurri and brothers, Benny Garcia and Jesse Garcia.

A viewing will be held from 1-2pm, followed by a funeral service for Delia at 2pm, on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, Texas 77065.

A reception will follow at French Quarter Grill at 7099 Hwy. 6., Houston, TX 77095.
