Obituary

Deidre Anne Johnson of Houston passed away September 2, 2020, at the age of 70. Dee Dee was born in Waco, Texas, on May 2, 1950. Her family moved to Houston in 1952, where her father ran the Variety Boys Club. She graduated from Reagan High School in 1968. Dee Dee was a long-time member of Houston's First Baptist Church, where she taught a two-year-old Sunday School class for many years. Dee Dee retired from her job as an Executive Assistant at the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council in 2018.

She loved her time spent there and the friends she made. Her grandkids loved the cookies she frequently shared. Dee Dee was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald C. and Lillian Johnson, and her brother, Jim Jay Johnson. She is survived by her children, Jennifer Warren and husband Marc, and Donald Bonds, and four grandchildren, Joshua, Samantha, Caleb, and Hannah Warren.

A Celebration of Life will take place- Monday, September 14, 2020, at 11:00am
