Dee Onn Hodges was born on July 22, 1958 in Orlando, Florida and passed peacefully at home in Conroe, TX on December 18, 2020 after she had fought the good fight.

Dee Onn grew up in Mesquite, TX and graduated from North Mesquite High school in 1978. After high school, she went on to attend Texas Christian University and graduated with a bachelors in Deaf Education. After graduating college, she worked for Bank of America for 35 years.

To know Dee Onn was to know she had a smile that lit up her face and the face of others. Dee Onn's hands could talk, but it was her heart that communicated with everyone. She was an incredible woman of faith and knowing that cancer was taking her body said, "I win, I get to see Jesus first". Dee Onn was known to share Jesus with strangers and to ask, "Do you know my Jesus?" She leaves us for but a while, but she will be experiencing Christmas with the King. Dee Onn loved scripture, and this is one of her favorites.

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Dee Onn is survived by her husband, Joe Hodges, her Mother Glenna Cunningham, and her two children Kathryn Watson and husband Jon, and Matthew Fade. She is also survived by three stepchildren, Amber Hodges, Brandi Rich, and Christopher Nunley and had 11 grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her Father, Bruce Cunningham, and stepdaughter Crysten Hodges.
