It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of my dear mother's passing. Debra Sue Bailey Kitchens, fondly known as Debbie, has earned her wings and ascended to heaven on August 8th at 4:20 pm. She was a beautiful and lively woman who fought with all her might in the past few years, and her strength and resilience were nothing short of remarkable. She has now reunited with her loved ones in the heavenly abode, including her one true love, my father Terry Kitchens. I can only imagine them dancing, laughing, and embracing each other, living it up in the arms of the Almighty.

My mother was a free spirit with an unbreakable will, and her beautiful heart and infectious smile touched the lives of many. Her passing has left a void in our lives that cannot be filled, and I will miss her amazing laugh dearly. She loved with all her heart and held on to the things she cherished, making it hard for her to let go. But she was a wonderful friend, mother, wife, and Grammy, as well as Aunty Deb and her memory will live on forever.

We invite you to join us in celebrating her life and paying our respects as we lay her to rest next to my Daddy. The viewing will be held at Klein Funeral Home on September 8th, 2023, from 5-6:30 pm for family and 6:30 pm onwards for friends. The funeral service will take place at Klein Funeral Home on Saturday, September 9th, at 2:00 pm, followed by a burial at Salem Lutheran Cemetery. Your presence and support during this difficult time would mean the world to us.
