Dean Wesley May Jr., 80, of Spring, TX, passed away October 9 ^th , 2022.  Dean was born May 27 ^th , 1942, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Dean Wesley May Sr. and Anna M. (McClain) May.

Dean is survived by his children Dean W. May III; Kent (Michelle) McGill; siblings Deanna (Ray) Williams; Deloris (Richard) Hughes; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Including his parents, Dean was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Joyce May and his brother Douglas Glenn May, survived by his wife Laura (Bozeman) May.

Dean graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1964.  Dean had a rewarding career working at Chicago Bridge and Iron, and later for Mustang Engineering.

Living life to its fullest, Dean enjoyed family activities, golf, bridge, travel and projects that folded his mechanical knowledge with his skills as a craftsman.

Dean was a devoted Christian, and he and his wife Rita were active members of John Wesley United Methodist Church.

A celebration of life service will be held Monday, October 31 ^st , 2022 at 11AM at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 5830 Bermuda Dunes Dr., Houston, TX, 77069, with Rev. Dr. Marty Dunbar officiating.  Inurnment is to follow in the John Wesley United Methodist Columbarium.
