Davis Tyndall Barron – better known to everyone as Dink, 77, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.  Born on March 18, 1948, in Panama City, Florida, the son of Dorman and Virginia (Campbell) Barron.

Dink graduated from Bay High School, Class of 1966.  Following graduation, he moved to Houston, Texas met and married the love of his life, Jackie.  They celebrated 56 years of marriage in April.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Bradley Keith Barron, brothers, Dorman, Donald, Herbie, and Kenny Barron and sisters Gwendolyn Roark and Beth Adams.  Surviving in addition to his wife, Jackie (Sechelski) Barron, are his daughter Kelly (Yassin) Owen and son Derrick "Troy" Barron (Britt), five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, brother Nick Barron (Delores) and sister Thelma Jean Neeld (Herb), Brother in law Bob Roark, Sisters in law Tina Barron, Jessica Barron, Gloria Phillips, Rosemary Spurling (Mike), Patricia Pate, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dink began his career with Hughes Tool Company and worked with several of the Hughes-affiliated companies over the years, ultimately concluding his 47-year tenure with ATI. As a Manufacturing Engineer, his career took him across the globe, to Ireland and China, where he shared his expertise and taught manufacturing engineering. Throughout his career, Dink mentored and guided many in the industry before retiring in 2014 to enjoy a well-earned and fulfilling retirement."

Together, Dink and Jackie pursued a shared love for travel that took them to all corners of the globe.  Some of their favorite trips included adventures to Spain, cruises to Alaska and Hawaii, and regular visits to Panama City to spend time with family.

Dink will be remembered for his kindness, sharp wit, storytelling, unwavering love and dedication to his family and of course love for hunting.  Dink taught all three of his children, his grandchildren and nieces and nephews how to hunt, fish, and have a love and respect for the outdoors.

A visitation and rosary will be held on April 30, 2025 at Klein Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. 5719 Wortham Blvd. Houston, Texas 77065 and a funeral mass will be May 1, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Mangum Rd, Houston, Texas 77092.
