David Michael Winegar's Obituary
David Michael Winegar was born on November 26, 1980, and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, due to unexpected complications from an infection.
David had a good heart and soul and would do anything for anyone. David was a very charismatic, smart little boy with bright blond hair and big blue eyes. When he was young, he was athletic and played a variety of sports at which he excelled. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time at the beach.
David was proud of the time he spent in the Navy where he was trained as a firefighter. He served in Iraq in February 2003 assigned to Naval Special Forces. During his time in the Navy he was awarded with Marksmanship 3, National Defense, SRT5, SRT3, and a Naval Recommendation for a Purple Heart.
At the time of his death he was living in Corpus Christi, Texas.
A memorial service celebrating David's life will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 30, at Klein Funeral Home - CyFair Northwest, 9719 Wortham Boulevard, Houston, TX 77065.
