David Lawrence Schmitt, 89, passed from this life on August, 21, 2023 in The Woodlands, Texas. He was born to the late Lawrence and Florence Schmitt on February 10, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 64 years, Annette M. Schmitt; daughters, Ann Schmitt Morgan and Karen Schmitt Naumann and husband Stephen; son, Adam David Schmitt and wife Aimee; brother, William Schmitt and wife Louise; grandchildren, James Andrew Morgan and wife Elizabeth, Jacob B. Morgan and wife Sara, Katherine Ann Dunne and husband William, Nicholas Lawrence Naumann and wife Kaylee, Hannah G. Schmitt and Haley G. Schmitt; great-grandchildren, Emily Morgan, Olivia Morgan, Marshall Morgan, Molly Morgan and William P. Dunne IV.

A visitation will be held Monday August 28, 2023 at 9:00 am at Klein Funeral Home 1400 W. Main St. Tomball, TX 77375 with a funeral service to follow promptly at 10:00 am. Burial will be held privately.

All are invited to join the family for a reception and celebration of David's life immediately following the funeral service at The Tavern, 2301 N. Millbend Dr., The Woodlands, TX 77380.
