Although David was born in Huntsville, Texas on March 21, 1943, to Louis and Mary Parker, he was raised in Trinity, Texas. He graduated in the largest class to have ever attend Trinity ISD. He attended Sam Houston State College and graduated with a BS degree in Industrial Arts in 1967. While there, he met his physics lab partner and unbeknownst at the time soon to be his wife, Linda Klovenski. There was certainly a magnetic pull in that lab. The two became one on August 19, 1967 and enjoyed 54 years in a loving relationship. They were blessed with two daughters, Jennifer and Robin. David worked at several engineering firms in Houston during his career, but his true passion were his many hobbies. He loved working with wood and took great pride in the beautiful furniture he hand-crafted.

After retirement David and Linda moved to Montgomery County and David started making airplanes out of coke and beer cans. Needless to say there was a lot of drinking going on so that David could make someone an airplane. Everyone that owns one of these airplanes cherishes it dearly.

However, his greatest pride and happiest moments were with his family. He was an outstanding husband, an incredible father and the best "PaPa" any family could have asked to have.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Klovenski Parker. His daughter Jennifer Sundholm and husband Erik. His daughter Robin Sicoli and husband Ron. Grandchildren Army Specialist Kody Sundholm, Kasey Sundholm, Kylee Sundholm and Ross Sicoli.

He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Mary Parker and sister Adne Henderson and husband Bobby Henderson.
