David was a selfless person always looking out for others wellbeing. He cared so much about his wife, always calling her "bonita" which means pretty in English. Her name was saved in his cell phone as "my true love", and she really was. The one who cared and was by his side looking out throughout his struggle with diabetes.
David was patient always willing to help others. He taught his oldest granddaughter how to drive and was supposed to teach his other grandkids how to drive. His grandkids loved him and will miss him dearly.
He had a passion for his little garden he had started where he had planted okra along with other vegetables. He loved electric cars and anything that had to do with technology, he would tell mom she needed an electric car, his dream car was a Tesla.
We are truly saddened by this loss. Only the memories are left that will continue to live in our hearts and minds until our time on this earth. May God have him in his loving arms. Rest in peace David!
David will be laid to rest at a committal service with military honors at 1:45pm on Monday, November 28, 2022 in Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038.
