Obituary

David L. Moore passed away peacefully in Spring, TX on Thursday July 29, 2021. He was born on October 21, 1954 in an Army Hospital in San Francisco, California as the third child to Tom and Emilie Moore. He was raised in several different states and many years in Germany as his father served in the US Army during his childhood.

After graduating High School in Manning, South Carolina he moved to Houston, TX where he opened his first automotive shop exclusively for european cars. After successfully operating his own business, he was recruited to work for the renowned German automotive company, Porsche. His love for cars, especially sports cars, made this the dream career for him as he spent over 25 years with the company.
David's proudest role however was that of a Father to his only son, and Grandfather to three grandchildren. His spare time was spent at the lake fishing with his son every weekend, or working in the yard to create his own sanctuary. His passion and talent for craftsmanship always had him embracing the next house project with his son. He was the definition of a strong selfless man, who constantly gave all of his love to his family and friends. Even though he was a man of few words, his actions towards everyone always left an everlasting impression on those he met.
He is survived by his Mother Emile Moore, Brother, Tommy Moore, Sister, Barbara Houston, and Nephew Jon (Deker) Houston. Also by his son's family: Alex (son) and Ali Moore, and their children, David, Logan, and Alina
