David Gary Landreneau was born on January 2, 1958, in Ville Platte, Louisiana to Gary Landreneau and Mary Lynn Fletcher Landreneau. David passed away February 23, 2022 in Houston, Texas after a brief battle with lung cancer at the age of 64.

David graduated from Louisiana State University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Later in his working career, he spent time in IT and Project Management. David loved traveling, especially on long road trips to the mountains. He was an avid reader and loved debating about current events. David loved watching LSU football. Above all, he loved his family and grandchildren the most. We will miss him dearly.

David is preceded in death by his father, Gary Landreneau, and his father-in-law, Philip Catalano, Sr.

David is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Regina Landreneau; his mother, Mary Lynn Landreneau; his mother-in-law, Patricia Catalano; daughter Amy King and husband Kevin, son Mark Landreneau and wife, Karen; four grandchildren Cody King, Ryan King, Riley Landreneau, and Paige Landreneau; brothers Joel Landreneau, and Frank Landreneau; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Sylvester and Tina Johnson; brothers-in-law, Mike Catalano and Philip Catalano, Jr.; and their spouses, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation for David will be Monday, February 28, 2022 from 5-8 pm with a Rosary service at 7 pm at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, Texas 77065.

A funeral mass for David will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 11507 Huffmeister Road, Houston, Texas 77065.
