David C. Henry, the son of Charles Egbert and Mary Elizabeth Henry, peacefully passed on December 4, 2018, in Houston. He was born in El Paso, Texas in 1946. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1964. After graduating from the University of Texas, El Paso, he pursued a career in education and taught many years before changing careers as his family grew. He spent the remainder of his working career as a Landman in the Oil & Gas industry. He enjoyed spending time with his family at home and with his friends on the golf course. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Leona W. Henry, his daughters Elizabeth and Laura, their husbands, his three granddaughters, his older brother, Charles L. Henry and family. He was proceeded in death by both his parents and older brother, Donald F. Henry. Abiding by his wishes, there will be no formal services. A casual gathering will be held for those who wish to pay their respects on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at 1002 Cheddar Ridge Dr., Spring, TX 77379.
