David Kent Groves, 59 of Spring, Texas passed away June 24, 2016. He was born September 13, 1956 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Patsy Ruth Butcher Brown and the late James Olen Groves. David was retired from the oil field.

David is survived by his wife, Patsy Groves, daughter Michelle Skrivanek and husband Paul; grandchildren, Taylor Magnesio and husband Joey, and Samantha Skrivanek; his mother, Patsy Brown; brother, Kevin Groves and wife Nancy, and numerous other family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm on Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main , Tomball, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the Klein Funeral Home Chapel in Tomball. Burial will follow at the Klein Memorial Park, 9714 FM 2920, Tomball, Texas.
