David Paul Fahrenthold, 76, of Tomball, Texas passed away on December 1. David is survived by his significant other, Barb Davis, of Tomball; son & daughter-in-law D.P. & Bethany, grandchildren Irene, Paul, and Madi of Wichita, Kansas; Barbara Williams, mother of DP, of Bryan, Texas; and brother James Fahrenthold of Georgetown, Texas. He is predeceased by his parents Milton & Scottie Fahrenthold of San Antonio, Texas.

David was born in San Antonio, Texas and attended Highlands High School, the University of Texas at Austin, and Texas Lutheran University. He became a professional musician, playing the steel guitar in country and western bands from his early 20s on. He played with singers Johnny Bush, Mark Chestnutt, and Clay Walker, and continued his musical career until the time of his death. He also loved to watch the Houston Astros, Houston Texans, and Texas Longhorns (and discuss them with his son, D.P.) and visit the mountains.

David was a loving father, grandfather, partner, and brother. He was kind to everyone and had a great sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him.
